What the numbers mean

Typical number of bidders is the median count on a tender. Single-bid share is how often only one priced bid was published. Winning margin is how far the low bid sat under the next one: (runner-up − low) / low, over tenders with ≥2 priced bids.

A firm that works where bid results are not published will not show up here. Quote the place, the sample size, and the date with any number you reuse.
